Weathercock House
Racing Development
In 2019 a new american style barn has been built at Weathercock House. It houses 22 horses and also includes a wash down box and storage area. All the stables are fitted with rubber matts both on the floors and walls and the wash bay is fully padded. The front part of the stables have been designed with grills from top to the floor. It was built with the help of The European Agricultural Fund For Rural Development to support and facilitate buisness growth and job creation at Weathercock House.
– In October 2025, we took on Cedar Lodge to accommodate our increased number of two year olds. Cedar Lodge comprises of 25 rubber matter stables, a wash down area, hay barn as well as a turn out paddock for Dessie’s racing pony Oakley. The yard is a great setting for our two year olds to start their career with it being so quiet and secluded.
– Over the winter in 2025, we had a 16m lunge ring constructed by Tomley Projects designed for us to break and pre train our yearlings on site. The lunge ring has Andrew Bowen surface and a viewing area.
